Compilation of the (hilarious) Mac Vs PC TV adverts

Following on from my post this morning with tributes to Steve Jobs, the Apple CEO who died yesterday, take a look back at this compilation of hilarious “Get A Mac” adverts from a fe years ago with a personified Mac versus a personified PC.

As well as making me laugh out loud, it makes me wonder why people use PCs. Does anyone know why they do?

See the British version of the Mac Vs PC adverts, featuring David Mitchell and Robert Webb from Peep Show, below.

Tribute montage of Steve Jobs made from 100s of Apple products

I’m sure, seeing as you’re using the internet, that you’ve probably read one of the many stories reporting Steve Jobs’ death at 56 from pancreatic cancer. I think this montage of Steve Jobs, made with a montage of hundreds of Apple products is a nice reminder of his life and influence to the industry.

If you’re visiting the Apple.com home page today you’ll find that they’ve placed a very simple, sleek and ‘Steve Jobs’ style tribute to him. If you would like to share your thoughts, memories, and condolences, you can email rememberingsteve@apple.com too.

UPDATE: Just spotted another great tribute image to Steve Jobs using his silhouette and the Apple logo. Check it out below, and on Jonathan Mak’s site.

Adobe releases Photoshop for iPhone & iPod Touch

I saw this as a tweet from @adsoftheworld, looks pretty cool but difficult to use for doing proper photoshop work. I can’t imagine that my fat fingers on the touchscreen can use it as well as my fat fingers using a mouse or tablet.
